On the fmRemote click on the back/home button near the middle right of the fmRemote.

Plug in the fmStick to your TV and make sure the power is on and the usb remote receiver is plugged into the end of it. Bring the fmRemote as close as you can to the fmStick and pull out the batteries on the remote for 5 seconds, then put them back in. The fmRemote will now be paired to the correct fmStick.

Touch anywhere on the fmTAB screen and then tap the pause button. Use two fingers to pinch the screen to zoom in and use two fingers spreading out to zoom out.

Touch anywhere on the fmTAB screen and then tap on the brand carousel logo(second logo from the right) then swipe left or right to find the brand you want to view content on.

Touch anywhere on the fmTAB screen and then tap on the envelope logo to the bottom right. You can now type in your email address that you would like to have video content sent to and click send.

When getting started the fmTAB may need to be plugged in. Once it has a charge locate the power button on the top right of the fmTAB and hold down for 7 seconds to turn on the fmTAB. Click on ‘Connect’ and find your wifi network and click on it. Input your password and then click ‘Connect’ on the keyboard. Next click into the area that allows for you to type and enter the 6 digit activation code provided in the original shipping email. (note: this can also be found using the ‘where do I find my Activation Codes?’ help question) Once the code has been entered click on activate. And you are now activated!

Click anywhere on the fmTAB, click on the settings button (Gear icon on bottom right of screen) and enter the password [friendmedia]. Next, choose connect your WiFi and find your network and enter your network password. It will show “Connected” once you have successfully connected to your WiFi network. This may take a few minutes depending on the speed of internet. If the fmTAB does not connect in 10 minutes please reach out to support@friendmedia.com

Click anywhere on the fmTAB and then click the (gear icon) the password to enter settings is [friendmedia]. The mac address will be visible labeled under SN. The last 4 digits are all that is needed to look up. Or within the dashboard click ‘Manage TV’ then click on the ‘edit’ button () and the code is directly below the name of the device.

With your fmRemote click the button between (-) and (+) to open settings. Use the down directional button to navigate to “About” and click “OK” on the remote. Use the right directional button to navigate to “Advanced Settings” and click “OK”. Highlight “Display” and click “OK”. Use the down directional button to navigate to “Screen Position” and click “OK”. Next highlight either the “Zoom In” or “Zoom Out” buttons and click “OK” to zoom in or zoom out until the screen fits your TV properly.

With the fmRemote click ‘OK’ then use the right arrow key to navigate to settings and click ‘OK’ on the fmRemote. Use the down arrow key to navigate to internet click ‘OK’ use the right arrow key to navigate to the networks and use the down arrow key to navigate to your network and click ‘OK’ enter your password then click on ‘Connect’. To exit click the back arrow button. If you have already connected and need to forget password click on the network and then click forget and repeat the steps above.

To change screen orientation, use the fmRemote and click ‘OK’ use the arrow keys to navigate to settings and click ‘OK’ use the arrow keys to navigate to ‘screen orientation’ on the right Click ‘Ok’. Next use the arrow keys to move to ‘Landscape 0’ and click ‘OK’ exit the screen using the back arrow key(middle right of the fmRemote)

One way to find the mac address is to look on bottom of the fmCoolTV Unit, the mac address is the 12 digit code underneath the barcode. Or On the fmRemote click ‘OK’ use the arrow keys to navigate to ‘Settings’ use the arrow keys to navigate to about and click ‘OK’ Here you will see the 12 digit Mac Address. Or within the dashboard click ‘Manage TV’ then click on the edit button () and the 12 digit code is directly below the name of the device.

To turn off wifi, click ‘Set’ button to enter settings. Use the down arrow key to navigate to internet click ‘OK’ use the right arrow key to navigate to the networks and use the up arrow key to navigate to the toggle switch next to advanced WiFi and click ‘OK’. To exit click the back arrow button. Reboot your TV by switching the power button to off for 20 seconds and switching the power back on. If necessary, reboot fmTV by unplugging for 20 seconds and then plugging back in.

To connect to WIFI, press “Set” on your fmRemote while pointing at the media player. Navigate to the “Internet” tab on your TV using the arrow keys and press “OK” on your remote. Find your WiFi network ID and enter the password. It will show “Connected” if you have successfully connected to your WiFi network. Press the back arrow button to exit the settings.

To reconnect the fmTV to wifi you can unplug the device from the power source for 20 seconds and plug it back in, or turn it off using the switch on the back for 20 seconds and then turn it back on.
